Ramadan and Eid confectionery from Gaziantep: ordering ahead

In Iraq and across the Gulf the season decides the year. Which Gaziantep lines sell in it, and why the truck is ordered before the shelf is empty. Production time counts from the deposit and the approved artwork, so a carton that has to be on the shelf for the season leaves Gaziantep well before it. One container can carry the season lines and the everyday shelf together, each on its own pallet, so a first order does not have to bet everything on the season. Lead time is stated per line and counted from the deposit and the approved artwork.

What sells in the season

Boxed Turkish delight and the pistachio lokum roll for the iftar table and for gifts; chocolate gift boxes and mini-bar assortments for Eid; dragées and sugared almonds in bowls; pistachio spread for the morning after; and the wrapped confectionery children are given at Eid. The lines are the ordinary ones on the product pages; the season changes the pack and the quantity, not the recipe. Baklava from Gaziantep is asked for in the same breath; it is sourced on request from producers we know and loaded in the same truck, with the producer’s own data sheet.

Why the order comes early

Producers run seasonal packs ahead of the season and then return to the standard range; a late order gets the standard pack or waits. The lead time per line is stated in the offer and counted from the deposit and, for own-brand packs, from the approved artwork. Add the road: a truck from Gaziantep through Habur is quick, a container to Umm Qasr is not. We do not print dates on this site; the offer states them for the year in question. Own-brand packs need one more step, the approved artwork, so they are ordered earliest of all; standard seasonal packs come next; standard lines can follow in a second truck when the season proves the shelf.

Halal, named per line

The season is also when the halal question is asked most. Our Halal certificates are issued for our factory and named per line in the offer, with copies on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such. That is how an importer builds a certified seasonal list rather than a hopeful one.

Gift boxes under your brand

Eid gift boxes are the easiest own-brand entry in the year: a printed box around producer-made contents, Turkish delight, mini bars or dragées, with the Arabic and English label content prepared from the data sheet and the artwork approved in writing before printing. Minimums per line are in the offer, and the box shares the truck with lines in our standard packs. The Iraqi private label page lists the formats.

What to send first

The lines, the quantity per line, the crossing or port, and the month you want the goods on the shelf. The written offer follows within two working days with the lead time per line, the certifying body named. The Iraq page lists what stays the same on every offer; the Turkish delight page and the chocolate page list the seasonal groups.

Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.

How far ahead should a Ramadan order be placed?

Before our seasonal runs; the offer states the lead time per line for the year in question. No dates are printed on this site.

Are the seasonal lines halal certified?

Our certificates are named in the offer, with copies on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such.

Can an Eid gift box carry our brand?

Yes, on selected lines, with the label content prepared in Arabic and English and the artwork approved before printing.

How to order

Send the list. We do the rest.

Send your product list with approximate quantities and the destination port. You get one offer covering every line, then one container, loaded and photographed before the doors close.
