Tajikistan is outside the EAEU: what that changes on the label and in the file

Tajikistan is not a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and for a confectionery order that one fact decides the paperwork. The EAC mark a buyer asks for in Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan does not carry here. Compliance is read against the country's own food and customs rules, the importer files the declaration and answers for it, and the supplier's job is to hand over a complete file, line by line.

Home  /  Blog  /  Tajikistan sits outside the Eurasian Economic Union, so the EAC mark does not carry and the file is built to national rules instead.  ·

Not the union frame — the country's own rules

Outside the union there is no shared technical regulation to lean on and no EAC mark to reproduce. That is where this market parts company with its two neighbours inside the union: a file built for them is not the file needed here.

Every line in our quotation carries its own customs tariff heading, so the broker can classify the load without guessing. We write the heading and never a rate — the quotation states what applies on the day it is issued.

Tajik and Russian on the pack, and one company named

Mandatory information goes on the pack in Tajik, in Cyrillic, and in Russian: product name, ingredients with allergens, net weight, storage conditions, date marking and the manufacturer's identification. A sticker applied after arrival is a repair; where volumes justify it, the artwork is bilingual from the start.

The company that first places the goods on the market is named on the pack. We ask for that name in writing before any plate is cut, and label text is prepared from our technical specification, not from marketing copy — the route is set out in private label for Tajikistan.

The name check that happens before printing

Two names fail more often than the rest. The jar product is a sweetened spread — spread, not cream — and not a hundred-per-cent confectioner's paste for a pastry kitchen. Buyers search for the word paste; we will use their word in conversation and correct it on the label, because the declared name has to match what is in the jar.

The second is coating. A vegetable-fat glaze is not chocolate and cannot be named as chocolate. The quotation says line by line which of the two a product carries, so the label follows the specification rather than the photograph.

The minimum is per line, and that is what builds a mixed load

The selling unit is a full container or a full truck; we do not build part loads. The minimum is set per line, not per container, and the manufacturer sets it — it is written next to that line in the quotation. That is the mechanism behind a mixed first order: six or seven items travel together in measured quantities.

Each line rides on its own pallet, under one packing list and one circulation document, as described under mixed container. The importer can test several shelf positions on a single customs entry instead of betting the entry on one flavour.

Temperature is a written decision, not an assumption

Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines travel at +18 to +20 °C, and in the hot months we quote a refrigerated container for them. If a dry container is preferred anyway, the temperature risk passes to the buyer in writing, before loading. The country is landlocked and the load crosses transit countries, so the condition of the goods cannot be left open once the doors are closed.

Lokum, sugared almond dragée and jelly lines travel dry all year, which is why they often anchor a first mixed load while the chocolate lines are sized around the season.

What to send

Send the lines you want quoted, the pack formats, the label language layout, and the name of the company that will appear on the pack as placing the goods on the market. Each line comes back with technical specification, ingredients and allergens, net weight, carton and pallet data, the minimum for that line and the customs tariff heading. The written quotation follows within two working days.

Certificates are issued for our factory; copies are available on request. Analysis report, invoice and packing list travel with the shipment. Payment is half at order and half before the container leaves, against loading photographs.

Does the EAC mark apply in Tajikistan?

No. Tajikistan is not a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, so EAC conformity marking does not carry here. The frame is the country's own food and customs rules, and the importer files the declaration in its own name and answers for compliance. Our part is to supply our documents that file is builtfrom.

Which languages have to appear on the label?

Mandatory information is given in Tajik, written in Cyrillic, and in Russian. The company that first places the goods on the market is named on the pack as well. Label text is drafted from our technical specification, and nothing goes to print without written approval.

Is the minimum set per container or per line?

Per line. The manufacturer sets the minimum for each line and it is written next to that line in the quotation, while the selling unit remains a full container or a full truck. That is why a first order can carry six or seven items in measured quantities, each on its own pallet.

How to order

Send the list. We do the rest.

Send your product list with approximate quantities and the destination port. You get one offer covering every line, then one container, loaded and photographed before the doors close.
