The route is part of the offer
Most offers describe the goods and leave the journey to be found out afterwards. Here the journey is a specification of its own: the route the load takes, how long it should be in transit, and which papers move with it.
The commercial ground is not empty. By Armenia's own import records, Türkiye is the fifth source of sugar confectionery: the shelf already knows these products, and the real question is which lines, at which quality step, on which calendar. More on the Armenia market page.
Longer transit means temperature and season are decided first
Chocolate and chocolate-coated products travel at +18/+20 °C. Over a longer transit that figure stops being a detail: the load spends more days in whatever weather the route is having. In the warm months a refrigerated container is offered for chocolate lines; if a dry container is preferred for cost, the temperature risk passes to the buyer in writing, before loading.
Turkish delight, sugared almonds and dragées, and jelly lines go dry all year. Use that difference: split the order into a heat-sensitive group and a stable group, and let the loading month decide how much of the first group travels.
The EAEU frame and the EAC mark
Armenia is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, so the pack is governed by the Union's technical regulations — food safety and labelling — not by any European instrument. The A.TR movement certificate and EUR.1 have no role on this route, and asking for them only delays the file.
Conformity is shown by the EAC mark, and the declaration of conformity is held on the importer's side, in the importer's file. What we supply is the evidence that declaration is built from, line by line. The customs tariff position is listed per line, and the offer states what applies the day it is issued.
The label is Armenian, and a name appears on the pack
The retail label is set in Armenian, in the Armenian alphabet. Treat it as a typesetting decision taken at the start, not a translation pasted over finished artwork: the font must carry the script, and the ingredient block, allergen line and net weight must sit legibly on the panel.
One consequence buyers often meet late — the company that first places the goods on the market appears on the pack by name. If that is your company, the panel is designed around it from the first proof. Label content is prepared from our technical specification, and under your own brand nothing goes to print without your written approval; see private label for Armenia.
The minimum is per line, and so is the paperwork
The sales unit is a full container or a full truck; there is no groupage. But the minimum is set per line and written into the offer — not per container. That is why a cautious first order can still carry six or seven references in measured quantities, each line on its own pallet under a single packing list. That is how a mixed container is put together.
Per line, what leaves from here is the technical specification, the ingredient and allergen statement, the net weight, the analysis report, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the tariff position. Certificates are held for our factory and are issued for our factory; we name the holder line by line and pass on copies.
What to send
Start with samples. A short sample set settles taste, sweetness and format before anyone commits a pallet.
Then send retail formats and net weights, an indicative quantity per line, dragée colours and calibres if gift boxes are planned, whether the Armenian label runs under your brand or ours, the loading month and the delivery city. We reply in two working days, in writing, line by line. Payment is 50% at order and 50% before the container leaves, against loading photographs; the rest is on the how we work page.
How does the load reach Armenia if the land border is closed?
It travels through a third country. That is a logistics fact rather than a complication to be discovered later, so the route and the expected transit time are stated in the offer, together with the documents that move with the goods.
Can chocolate be shipped in summer?
Yes, at +18/+20 °C in a refrigerated container, which matters more here because transit is longer. If a dry container is preferred for cost, the temperature risk passes to the buyer in writing before loading. Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jelly lines go dry all year.
What has to be on the label for Armenia?
The retail label is set in Armenian, in the Armenian alphabet, typeset from the outset rather than translated at the end, with content prepared from our technical specification. The company first placing the goods on the market appears on the pack by name, and conformity is shown by the EAC mark, with the declaration held in the importer's file.
