What the Iraqi shelf already knows
Turkish chocolate, biscuits and confectionery are shelf staples in Iraq, from the wholesale markets of Baghdad and Erbil to the corner shop. The buyer does not need to be told that Turkish chocolate is good; the buyer wants to know which lines, at what minimum, and whether the brand can be his for Iraq or for the Kurdistan Region. That is a different conversation from the one an importer in Canada has, and this page is written for it.
Route one: our standard packs, as agent
Most lines here are available in our standard packs, with the export pack and the certificates already in place. An importer can start with cases and grow into an agency: exclusive distribution for a brand, for a region or for the whole country, agreed in writing. We do not promise exclusivity on a website; we sit down with the importer and write down what was agreed. The limit is the same everywhere: a brand carried by one agent is a brand the next importer cannot carry.
Route two: your own brand
Many Iraqi importers already sell chocolate made in Türkiye under their own name. Private label as one of our core services: the product is the same, the pack is yours, the label content is prepared in Arabic and English from our data sheet, and nothing is printed before you approve the artwork in writing. What it buys is a name nobody else can carry into Iraq, and a margin without a brand owner in between. The Iraqi private label page lists the formats.
Most importers do both
The usual truck is mixed: lines in our standard packs that sell on sight, pistachio tablets, chocolate covered Turkish delight, boxed lokum, next to one or two own-brand lines that build the importer’s own range. Each line has its own pallet and its own minimum, so the two routes do not compete for space. Over time the own-brand share grows as the importer learns what sells in Baghdad and what sells in Erbil, which are not the same.
What we do not do
We do not list other brand names on this site, and we do not name the importers who carry them. The producers sell to other exporters and other agents; their names belong to them. In the offer every line names the certificate holder and the brand, so the importer knows exactly what is being quoted and what can be agreed. The Iraq page lists what stays the same on every offer.
How to start
A first message is short: references from the chocolate page, quantities, port. The offer that comes back is not — it carries the specification, the pallet plan and the minimum, line by line.
Samples are free from our running production and the courier is paid before dispatch. The iraq: what stays the same on every offer page lists what stays the same on every offer, and the private label for iraqi brands page covers putting your own name on the pack.
Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.
Can we get exclusivity for a Turkish brand in Iraq?
That is agreed with us in writing, for a region or for the country; we arrange the meeting and put the terms in the offer. It is not promised on a website.
Which is cheaper, the standard pack or our own brand?
The product costs the same; own brand adds artwork, a minimum per line and a lead time. The offer states both routes per line.
Can one truck carry both?
Yes. Each line travels on its own pallet; standard-pack and own-brand lines share the truck.
